Since we met ten years ago in Sussex, we have talked about opening our own Bed & Breakfast, and have finally made the move to give up our careers in hospitality and nursing and do it! We are both naturally caring and nurturing people and welcome every visitor and guest like an old friend. Mark has spent fourteen years nursing for the NHS and Charlie has spent ten years running various cafes and restaurants, so you are in safe hands.
ABOUT THE HOTEL
DeLovely is an adults-only (16+) guest house in Blackpool’s North Shore area. It was the winner of Channel 4’s ‘Four in a Bed’ in 2012 and has enjoyed a strong reputation since. We are now taking bookings and welcoming visitors to Blackpool with a top-notch breakfast, locally sourced coffee and a well-stocked bar, as well as comfortable en-suite rooms, offering flat-screen televisions, tea and coffee facilities, ironing facilties, hairdryers and free Wi-Fi.
The North Shore area of Blackpool has a lot to offer, being a short walk from the town centre and local attractions, as well as adjacent to Blackpool North Station. North Pier, Blackpool’s oldest and longest Pier, is a very short walk from the Hotel.

Pleasure Beach
Blackpool Pleasure Beach has everything from thrilling rides to spectacular shows! The Pleasure Beach is just over two miles from DeLovely and can be reached by a walk along the promenade, bus or tram. Bus and tram stops are a few minutes’ walk from DeLovely.
Madame Tussauds
Madame Tussaud’s famous waxworks is located approximately one mile from DeLovely. Featuring over eighty wax figures of your favourite stars and celebrities, it’ll make a great day out for everyone.
Winter Gardens
Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, home to shows, pantos, musicals and all things theatre, as well as exhibitions and conventions, is located in Blackpool’s town centre, just a ten minute walk from DeLovely Hotel.
Funny Girls
‘The Best Night Out in the North West’ Funny Girls is located just around the corner from DeLovely. Featuring regular shows throughout the week, this is not to be missed.
Blackpool Tower
Home to the Blackpool Ballroom, the Blackpool Eye, and Blackpool Tower Circus, the Blackpool Tower is a very short walk from DeLovely, and will make a great day out for everybody.

By Road – (Delolvey postcode: FY1 2DG) – take junction 32 off the M6 onto the M55 towards Blackpool. Follow the M55 to Preston New Rd/A583. At junction 4 take the A583 (3rd exit) to Blackpool (North). Continue straight onto Park Rd/B5390. Turn left onto Church St. Turn right onto Cookson St. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Talbot Rd/A586. Turn left onto High St/A586. Turn right onto Dickson Rd. Turn left onto Lord St. Delovely will be on the left hand side.

By Rail – Blackpool North is the closest station of the 3 stations in Blackpool, with regular train services. There is a taxi rank at the front of the station, but it's only a 10 min walk (0.5mi/0.8km) to Delovely if you prefer. For more details about the station visit National Rail's website. From London, you can get a train to Blackpool North from Euston Station, which takes a little over 3 hours. Visit National Rail for train times and tickets.
Walking Directions from Blackpool North Station
Exit the station and turn right and right again and follow the road down the side of the station. At the top of the road continue straight ahead down Springfield Road. Take the 2nd right into Lord Street. Continue down Lord Street until you pass Yates Street (3rd on the left) and Delovely will be on the left hand side. Show directions in Google Maps.
By Air – Manchester International Airport is around 1 hour from Blackpool by car. Their is also a direct train to Blackpool North Station which takes 1h 30 mins. Visit National Rail for train times and tickets.
By Tram – trams run along 11 miles of the coastline from Fleetword Ferry to Starr Gate, with trams operating up to 10 mins during the day. Click for route and map. The closest stop to Delovely is Pleasant Street.
