FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY BOOKING?
We take a deposit of the first night's stay when you book directly with us. Two weeks before your arrival date, we take the remainder of the payment. If we are unable to take the payment, we will make contact with you and if after 48 hours we still cannot collect payment we will cancel your booking.
WHAT ARE THE CHECK IN/OUT TIMES?
Our latest check-in time is 2100. Check-in after this time is subject to prior arrangement directly with the hotel and is payable on arrival. Check-out is until 1100. Any late check out must be arranged directly with the hotel the day before. This will be payable upon arrangement and is available until 1300. We cannot accommodate any times later than this.
CAN WE MAKE A FAMILY BOOKING?
Please note we are currently unable to accommodate family bookings (adults & children) in one room. We do not accept bookings for children under the age of 16. We do not currently have family rooms, so any bookings for families would have to be across multiple rooms. We may be able to offer a discount if you book multiple rooms; give us a call to talk about your booking.
CAN I BRING MY PET WITH ME?
Unfortunately we are not able to accept bookings with pets.
WHAT IF I HAVE SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Any special dietary requirements must be made known to the hotel prior to arrival so that we can accommodate them.
DO YOU HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS?
Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to offer wheelchair access to the hotel and we do not have any ground floor rooms.
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?
Please note that if you choose to cancel your booking within fourteen days of your arrival date, 50% of your booking becomes chargeable. If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of arrival, you are not eligible to receive a refund. Special offers are excluded from our regular cancellation policy, please see details on the individual offers for more information. No-shows will be charged the full cost of the booking.
DO I NEED TO PAY FOR PARKING?
Parking is not included in your room rate. There is on-street parking available outside the hotel and in several local car parks, but this is subject to availability. Banks Street Car Park is within walking distance of the hotel (roughly three minutes). Please note that we cannot reserve any parking spaces.
DO YOU CHARGE FOR LOST KEYS?
Lost keys will incur a charge of £20 per room to cover the cost of getting new sets made. Room keys must be returned to a member of staff in the bar area upon check out.
